Weekly Homework
Welcome to The Bexley Test Homework Page.
Each week, new homework will be uploaded to provide thorough and structured coverage of the key skills and topics likely to appear in the Bexley 11+ Test. While each homework task will have a suggested completion date, students who join us later are encouraged to start from the beginning and work through the activities at their own pace. This will help ensure that no important topics, skills or learning are missed along the way.

English:
In this lesson, students will explore three types of figurative language: hyperbole, alliteration and personification. They will learn what each technique means, understand why writers use them, and practise identifying examples within a text.

In this lesson, students will learn how to multiply and divide numbers by 10, 100 and 1,000. They will explore how the place value of each digit changes, develop efficient methods for solving calculations, and practise applying these skills to a range of questions.

Verbal Reasoning:
In this lesson, students will learn how to tackle Odd Two Out verbal reasoning questions. They will practise identifying relationships between words, recognising synonyms and shared meanings, and using their vocabulary and logical reasoning skills to determine which two words do not belong in the group.
