Our Ten Minute Tests are a great way for children to become familiar with a variety of common 11+ question types while developing their speed, accuracy and confidence.

We recommend setting the timer for 10 minutes and encouraging your child to work carefully but efficiently. If they need a little longer at first, that’s absolutely fine — allow them to finish the test and use their time as a benchmark to try to improve on with future tests.

Once the test is complete, children should watch the accompanying solutions video. This is an important part of the practice: they can check their answers, understand where they went wrong and learn more efficient ways of approaching questions they found difficult.
